Once the fabric or yarn is used up, its exact shade, weave, or texture won’t normally be found again, making each garment a special part of our evolving creative / design process. Fits sizes S-L, seen unpinned a bit oversized on XS 5'8".
Knit of 100% hand-spun Thai mulberry silk yarns (with two artisan hand-woven Thai silk scarves knit directly into the bottom of the bodice to form the skirt) using our vintage hand-powered domestic knitting machine. Featuring hand-crocheted trim, adjustable button pinafore backing and open side slit with the scarf's fringe exposed. As this is hand-made with raw materials, please expect organic textures and fibers throughout.
Purchases support small, family business Thai artisans / sericulture and local cottage industry.
For Care / Cleaning
Gently hand wash with cold water, roll in towel to absorb excess water and lay flat to dry. Infrequent washing recommended. Steam to press the scarves after cleaning. Fold on shelf, do not hang from shoulders. Wear and store with extra care and intention.
