HANDMADE TEXTILES & LIMITED PRODUCTION we work with raw, handwoven silks and hard-to-find yarns, all in limited supply— enough for just a few pieces (or less) per colorway. Once the fabric or yarn is used up, its exact shade, weave, or texture won’t normally be found again, making each garment a special part of our evolving creative / design process. No two are exactly alike.
A NOTE ON FIT / SIZING soft silhouettes, adjustable closures, adaptable proportions, and sculptural shapes mean most styles have been designed to adapt to many different body shapes and sizes. Fits XS/S with a lot of stretch. The length will vary depending on your size, seen here on XS (5'10" tall) and would be a bit shorter on S.
Bust / waist stretch 30 to 36 inches comfortably and total length is ~39 inches (but does change slightly depending on body shape).
Knit of carefully selected vintage goat mohair yarns and Thai silk hand-spun yarns, using our vintage hand-powered domestic knitting machine, then carefully hand-brushed to create a high texture pile.
* Vintage mohair yarns vary in content from 70-100% mohair, 0-20% wool and 0-10% synthetic (only used for the inner core of the yarn for strength in some cases)
Purchases support small, family business, Thai artisans / sericulture and local cottage industry.
For Care / Cleaning
Periodically brush with bristle brush or clean pet brush to re-fluff fibers. Wear and store with extra care to preserve the texture. Dry clean only (infrequently). Extra attention needed to not have snags on the mesh knit. Wear and store with extra care.
